It's one thing to think
when you don't know
It's another thing to move
when you don't flow

It's another to hold on
not knowing when to let go
It's knowing how to conceal
and the right time to show

It's not safe to bust
when there is not trust
Yet sometimes we bust
some things are a must

Why must we lust
we're human beings
Blinded by this
what are we seeing

Trapped by our thoughts
our mind holds us prisoner
Our ears wide open
but we're not a listener

Full of rage
animal in a cage
Chapters have gone
you've yet to turn a page

Take a step back
watch the world fly by
Dying to live
while you live to die

Sittin' and simmering
things tend to linger
Everyone looks to you
then they point their finger

What does it all mean
will we ever know
No one ever will
